What a year it’s been! This time last year we had a problem to solve.
People just like you told us that it simply takes too long to document, review and improve Power BI reports – so it either doesn’t get done, or costs an arm and a leg to pull together documentation that isn’t properly maintained and is soon out of date.
You were pulling your hair out. Projects were running over budget, business risks were skyrocketing and handovers were a nightmare.
We set out to solve this problem, and for more than 1000 early adopters we have taken the first steps in doing so. You have provided us with feedback, insights and your trust – and as a startup that is something we are truly grateful for.
Let’s start the party 🎉
The thing about birthdays is that gifts get given, but you don’t need to buy us one – we’re the ones doing the giving this year. Upgrade to Professional this week and get a free Data Vizioner tee-shirt and cap. Yup, that’s right – we’re kitting you out.
If it’s been a while since you’ve used Power BI Documenter, we’ve put you back on a free trial so you can jump in and test some of our latest capabilities – including bulk upload. Upload a few of your most complex PBIT files and let us know how you get on. We’re on hand to answer your questions!
What’s next? 💫
A lot has been happening in the background over the last six months. We’ve begun rolling out our new UI, and this will be competed by the end of the quarter along with the release of new features for our customers who are managing multiple users.
But a lot has been happen with Power BI itself, and we’ve got a stack of features lined up for release in the run up to Christmas. Keep an eye on our blog for the latest updates, along with our feature update emails.
Until then, make sure you upgrade this week to get your free tee and cap. We’ll grab your size, you’ll tell us what colour you prefer and we’ll get it delivered.
Work with other people that might benefit from using Power BI Documenter? Please like or share our birthday update on LinkedIn to help spread the word.
The journey has been great so far, and we’re looking forward to the coming year.
